Where will you go today? "Where in the World?" (WITW) turns travel into a game by giving the user an extensive database of landmarks and tourist locations to visit. Using the location services on the iPhone (or iPod Touch) the game automatically detects the player's location and awards travel points as the world is discovered. Using the mapping features of iPhone OS 3.0, WITW provides each place with a short description and is accompanied by a map that is already zoomed in to that specific place. Want a closer look? Just tap on the map to bring up a full screen view that is navigation ready. The map also tracks your location in real-time so that you can see where you are in relation to a discovery. Where in the World has a database with over 1600 discoveries. The whole world in the palm of your hand!
